The microscopic composition and growth mechanism of flocs were explored. It is a key factor to determine the growth of flocs by studying some special chemical functional groups on the surface of flocs. The research results can provide powerful theoretical support for the enhanced removal of pollutants in water and the improvement of solid-liquid separation ability of flocs.
