particles and microorganism on the membrane fouling in the water treatment
In the pretreatment-membrane filtration synergy system for drinking water, the main components of extracellular polymers, proteins and polysaccharides, can affect the binding ability of the flocs to the membrane surface, the porosity and thickness of the filter cake layer, and the degree of clogging of the membrane pores. The research focused on reducing the growth activity and growth rate of microorganism on the membrane surface and membrane tank by flocculation, oxidative coupling pretreatment and oxidation in the membrane tank, which significantly improved the membrane filtration performance.
